Wow, yesterday, Twitter showed A$AP Rocky NO mercy. Just a few years ago, he was establishing himself as one of the biggest rappers in the game. The Harlem rapper rode an incredible wave into the spotlight, but didn’t sustain past early 2013.
A$AP Rocky released his sophomore album, back in 2015, and it was received with mixed reception. Since then, Rocky has kept a low profile, outside of doing features. After years of waiting, TESTING finally arrived, and the fans said it was trash.
Some people defended the album, but A$AP Rocky fans said he waited too long to drop. Apparently, the people talking were not the majority, after all. With the day over, A$AP Rocky beat out Pusha T, despite the drama with Drake, as TESTING was the number one album on iTunes.
