Every time Cardi B drops, it’s a hit, and it looks like that’s how it’s going to be for a while. As big as she is, her history doesn’t matter, because she did in just one year what artists wait an entire career for. On top of it all, she’s from The Bronx, hip hop’s birthplace.
Cardi B took a risk with “Be Careful” and tried something new. Early on, people tried to pan the song, but it was a welcomed change, and has become an early summer anthem. The song is definitely a bop and helped propel Invasion of Privacy album sales.
Earlier this week, Cardi B dropped the “Be Careful” music video. The visuals have definitely stood out, as Cardi B issued her official warning in a big way. In just a little under a year, add “Be Careful” to the total of Video of the Week features Cardi B has under her belt.
