A couple of years ago, Desiigner got the first hit of the year. He offered up his single, “Panda,” which became a major hit. The record caught the attention of Pusha T, leading to Kanye West signing him, and then getting Jay-Z’s co-sign.
Desiigner has since become known for his unique way of talking. There is an actual video of a linguist analyzing Desiigner’s way of talking, and was surprised to learn he was a native English speaker. Always keeping a smile, Desiigner simply laughed it off.
Recently, Desiigner stopped by LA’s Power 106. He sat down with J Cruz for “The Cruz Show.” Last week, Nicki Minaj and Cardi B were all the talk and Desiigner said Nicki needs to let Cardi shine, before discussing his own positive energy.
