When Cardi B said “Be Careful,” she wasn’t just talking to or about her potential lovers. This is a warning, overall, because she is going to hit back. Often, she reminds people that she doesn’t do beef on records, but it doesn’t mean she doesn’t check people.
This morning, Azealia Banks was on “The Breakfast Club,” where she dedicated a good portion of her interview to Cardi B. As many remember, these two have traded jabs on social media. Like all of her other beefs, Banks was the first one to fire a shot.
Cardi B was quick to respond to Azealia Banks, letting her know she isn’t buying what she’s selling. Banks said the reason she started going at Cardi B is because of the caricature she was making of the black culture, coming on the heels of Beyonce and her Lemonade run. But, Cardi B reminded Azealia that she bleached her skin, and also dragged Beyonce, and let her know she wasn’t going to apologize for who she is, as the people chose her.
