A big reason why Childish Gambino has gotten so much attention for his video, “This Is America,” is because it’s filled with truths. Yeah, he has plenty of “messages in the message,” but watching it one time says enough. The world reacts to it, but the madness ensues.
Yesterday, a video went viral, from a woman on Facebook. The young woman’s name is Lolade Siyonbola and she is a Yale University student. Her video went viral, as it showed a white woman calling the police on her for napping at the dorms.
The video shows the woman calling the police and them arriving, ending up asking Siyonbola for her ID. In total, the video is 17 minutes long and has her defending herself. Rightfully, this situation has become a Twitter trending topic.
