Yesterday, VH1 ran a marathon of “Love & Hip Hop” season seven. The season is a low-key classic, as it dealt with Cardi B rising to fame, including her getting her teeth fixed. That moment became a line in her breakout “Bodak Yellow” single.
Also featured on that season was J. Adrienne, Snoop’s girlfriend. Many people recognized the self-described first time lesbian as So Hood, from “Real Chance of Love,” of VH1’s “Celebreality” era. Eight years later, she returned to the network.
Those who caught those 2016-2017 reruns saw J. Adrienne often talking about how she was an actress. She was always going off on Snoop for not doing enough to help her career. Tonight, J. Adrienne had a brief cameo on “Empire,” where she played one of Shine’s (Xzibit) baby mamas, and Twitter recognized her!
