A big moment for women happened tonight, but it was an even bigger night for hip hop. For over a year, the hip hop world has hyped a nonexistent beef with Nicki Minaj and Cardi B. No matter how much love these ladies showed each other, there were still beef rumors.
Even when the two did a song together, the media still tried to create beef with them. Last month, Nicki Minaj and Cardi B both did interviews, where they showed each other tons of love. After that, people STILL tried pitting them against each other.
At Met Gala, both ladies showed up, and Nicki Minaj hit the red carpet with a major announcement. With her new album, Nicki Minaj is done incorporating “pink,” and has Queen, coming on June 15. Immediately after that, Nicki Minaj ran into Cardi B, and the two had a friendly conversation, which was caught on camera.
