By now, everybody has heard about Kanye West’s TMZ Live interview, where he went off. First, he crashes their show, and then he begins ranting. Still speaking on “free thought,” Kanye explained why he loves the president so much, saying he used to be hip hop goals.
When it comes to slavery, Kanye West said it was a choice. That ticked off nearly everybody, but Van Lathan was there to hold it down for the culture. Nobody expected a TMZ reporter, out of all people, to drop knowledge like that, but Van had time.
Black Twitter are the ones who REALLY had time, though. After the video with Van went viral, Black Twitter started #IfSlaveryWasAChoice, getting it trending, along with Massa, before #MuteKanye also started trending. The fans on Twitter are now checking these tweets out and they are going in!
