It’s often said that behind every great man is a woman. On Scarface, right before he took over, Tony Montana (Al Pacino) told Elvira (Michelle Pfeiffer) that he needed her. But, Scarface was a cautionary tale, and some would argue that Kanye West is, too.

Those who have known Kanye West, from the beginning, are quick to say that he was always like this. However, he wasn’t the leader of his own team, early on. Once he established himself, Kanye West became more vocal.

On the flipside, Jay-Z is a more disciplined figure, who always has made the right moves. When he got with Beyonce, Jay-Z got commercial appeal, and that helped eventually build Roc Nation. In light of this, “Dear White People” star, Ashley Blaine Featherson compared and contrasted Jay-Z and Kanye, and the men came for her, leading to her defending herself.
