Klay Thompson talks playing without Steph Curry, defensive intensity, making a statement, efficient game, and beating the Spurs in Game 1 #NBAPlayoffs [VIDEO]

Seeing how the regular season ended, for the Golden State Warriors, a lot of people felt they were vulnerable. After that Game 1 win, a lot of people might have changed their tone. The Warriors played extremely well, blowing the San Antonio Spurs out of Game 1.

Without Steph Curry, the Warriors needed someone to step up. In this afternoon’s name JaVale McGee ended up being that person, starting at center. Meanwhile, Andre Iguodala started at the point guard, in place of Curry.

Klay Thompson spoke with the media, following the Warriors’ Game 1 victory. When he spoke to the media, he told them one thing “I just wanna win.” He talked about how they won without Steph, making a statement, after a bad finish to the season, his efficiency, and the team’s defensive intensity.
