During the summer of 2014, Tinashe came through with the summer anthem. Nobody can hate on “2 On,” as it helped ScHoolboy Q get the mainstream look that he hadn’t yet been able to reach. Since then, she has seen her momentum cool.
But, Tinashe isn’t one to be underestimated, because she has a strong and dedicated fan base. Honestly, her fan base rivals that of Beyonce and Nicki Minaj. On top of that, she and Ben Simmons, of the 76ers are dating, so she has a celebrity couple that she’s one half of, now.
Tinashe recently stopped by Hot 97, talking to Ebro, Peter Rosenberg, and Laura Stylez. Jumping right into it, they talked about Ben Simmons, and how they got together. They also tackled the colorism issue, but Joyride was the reason she was in the building, so she plugged her new album.
