Viewers of FX’s “Atlanta” have often stated that they love the intros of each episode. But, something has to be said for their endings of their episodes, as well. There was the “Black Justin Bieber” performance, the invisible car during the season finale, and Katt Williams’ premiere.
Tonight’s episode shows Earn (Childish Gambino) finally making some money, so he takes Vanessa (Zazie Beetz) out. But, even though he has money, he is racially profiled. The movie theater turns his $100 bill down and a man pulled a gun on him.
When Earn takes Van to the club, the owner accuses him of having a counterfeit bill. So, Earn goes to the strip club, where they finessed him, leading to him leaving. Outside, Michael Vick was taking folks’ money to face them on foot, so Earn jumped in, with Van going in on him on the ride back home, “It was Michael Vick,” and Twitter is still going in!
