In 2017, Cardi B made the jump from “Love & Hip Hop” and mixtape tracks to a major label deal. Signing a $10 million deal, Cardi B quickly delivered a huge single. That record propelled her to the top of Billboard and she owned the late summer.
Cardi B gained co-signs from the industry elite, as the likes of Jay-Z and Beyonce gave her their sign of support. Along the way, Cardi B did a TIDAL documentary, and even Jennifer Lopez linked with her. She is still dominating radio, courtesy of her feature on Bruno Mars’ “Finesse.”
While Cardi B got the whole industry on deck, one person was overlooked. The Broad Street Bully, Philly’s own, Beanie Sigel, was out of the spotlight, in 2017. But, he met Cardi B, when he partied with her, and he is also giving his co-sign, and says people need to go ahead and crown her queen.
