Wale was once on the verge of becoming a major star, in the game. However, his popularity has been on a slow, but steady, decline since 2013, leading to his decision to leave Atlantic Records. Since making the change, Wale says he feels reinvigorated, and he has returned with “Staying Power,” his new single.
