Often, people from Baton Rouge, and the entire Louisiana, refer to hometown rapper, Boosie, as their Tupac. When he was sentenced to prison, they often said that. In the overall Southern hip hop scene, Boosie has one of the biggest fan bases.
With Boosie being such a big star, his co-sign counts for a lot. After seeing how NBA Youngboy was coming up, Boosie gave the young rapper his support. Being young and rich, NBA Youngboy has often found himself in trouble.
However, when news first broke, this was before the video leaked. A lot of rappers shared their support of Youngboy. When Boosie made his post, his baby mama came at him, accusing him of trying to get her arrested, on the same charges.
