Nearly four years ago, Masika rose to fame on “Love & Hip Hop.” She was an original member for “Love & Hip Hop Hollywood” and, like so many, was pursuing her career in music. This was the pre-Cardi B era, so those types of ambitions were nothing but Twitter jokes.
Masika, however, proved to be resourceful, and she had some singles with buzz. The most-prominent is “Andale,” featuring Fetty Wap, and it was the most-productive. That track led to Masika and Fetty Wap having a child.
At the time, Fetty Wap was the hottest rapper in the game. Since then, his momentum has cooled and he has several baby mamas, Masika being one of them. During the last season, Masika was on good terms with him, but things have drastically changed, and now she’s back to shading him.
