There is a deep roster of Philadelphia rappers making noise. Near the top of that list is AR-AB, definitely helped by Drake shouting him out, a few years ago. Back in 2016, AR-AB caught the attention of Birdman, who signed him with Cash Money Records.
AR-AB is a part of the new Cash Money roster, which is post-YMCMB era, on the label. Ahead of the Super Bowl, AR-AB and Birdman placed a bet on the Eagles and Patriots. Going with his hometown team, AR bet $200,000 that Philly would win.
Immediately, the hip hop world believed Birdman would not pay AR-AB, just given his history. A few days ago, AR-AB said Birdman had until Thursday to pay him. Yesterday, Sunday, AR-AB posted a pic of himself with $200,000 in stacks of cash, revealing that Birdman paid him.
