The amount of times these types of things happen is just saddening, within itself. Whether it’s some type of shooting, someone taking their own life, or natural disaster, it’s sad. But, the bottom line is that there are too many lives taken for no reason.
Florida is the victim, as Stoneman Douglas High School, in Parkwood, Florida is the latest ground zero. Some people, online, are mocking the #PrayForDouglas hashtag, but prayer is all people have, once lives are lost. But, there is more that can be done.
What happened today is nothing short of a travesty, as today is the ultimate celebration of love, Valentine’s Day. Instead, there is an absolute massacre. The beautiful part of this is how people have come to show love, through prayer, which shows that kindness still exists in this world.
