For real, shout out to Drake, man, he is really a good dude. Even after he’s proven himself, a lot of people like to clown him, but he’s really creative, and he has a lot of love. That’s rare, in an artist as big as he is, to really love people, how he does.
Throughout his career, Drake has always embraced Miami, and used what it has to offer. But, Drake also put his money where his mouth is, and donated close to $1 million, this week, to the city. Another city he often shouts out is Memphis, his father’s hometown.
What he’s done for Memphis is jump on Blocboy JB’s “Look Alive” record and given the city a huge shout out. There was some debate on what he said, but it’s 901 Shelby Drive, actually “901, Shelby Drive,” as in the city, and the highway, not an actual home. Regardless, Memphis has Twitter jumping, this morning.
