Having been around, since 2007, Big Sean wasn’t signed until 2008, joining Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music. Back then, Big Sean was comparable to J. Cole and Jay Electronica. These were promising, new, rappers who couldn’t get a release date for their debut album.

However, the summer of 2011 saw Big Sean and J. Cole debut to massive successes. In the seven years, since then, Big Sean has created several hit records. The biggest of those is “Bounce Back,” which peaked last year.

This afternoon, Big Sean came back with a major announcement. By now, fans have come to expect him to drop an album every other year, so no 2018 album was expected. Before he goes back into the music, Big Sean said he will relive his old music, doing the Unfriendly Reminder Tour with Playboi Carti.
