See, this right here is just too much, it’s understandable that people wanted to see Tom Brady lose, but come on. There was one person, on Instagram, that shared a chart. It showed a city in flames, and it said “If the Eagles lose” and an identical pic said “If the Eagles win.”
In the end, the Philadelphia Eagles are the Super Bowl champions, but the city is going to be in shambles. As soon as it was clear the Patriots would not be able to win, the celebration started. Early in the night, there were people flipping over a Prius.
This morning, social media has woken up to the #phillyriot. Also understandable, normal Philadelphia residents are upset with how people are destroying the city. It’s crazy to be telling the winner that it’s only a game, and to stop tearing sh*t up, but that’s how it’s going down, this week.
