HHV Exclusive: Ashley Blaine Featherson talks #DearWhitePeople and other upcoming projects

Courtesy of Netflix’s “Dear White People,” Ashley Blaine Featherson has become a household name. However, they probably know her better as Joelle, or Jo, her character, on the show. She portrays the loyal friend, on the show, as people trust her with their problems.

Prior to “Dear White People,” the series and the film, Ashley Featherson had a role on “Glee.” Since then, she made a lot waves, doing various acting gigs. Now, she is on one of the most-popular shows on social media.

During the NAACP Image Awards, Ashley Blaine Featherson took time out to talk to Hip-HopVibe.com. Talking to MJ, Ashley Blaine Featherson talked about “Dear White People” and what comes next. She also mentioned some other work that she has coming up.
