Two years ago, Fat Joe and Remy Ma teamed up for the first time in over ten years. Their single, “All The Way Up” was their first joint hit, since “Lean Back,” and they proved they still had it. Interestingly enough, they recruited French Montana for the hook.
French Montana was three years removed from his last hit. At the time, he was struggling to complete his second album, which he opted to release as a mixtape. Since then, French Montana put out his official second album, and is riding the peak of his career.
Last summer, French Montana figured it out, and he took over radio in a way he never did, before. Now, French Montana has several deals, on the table, including his French Vanilla brand. Adding to that, he is now an ambassador of Global Citizen, becoming the first rapper to earn this distinction.
