Boogie didn’t deserve this! Fans go to Twitter to vent about DeMarcus Cousins being out and what that means for the Pelicans

For a player as gifted and as hard-working as DeMarcus Cousins, this makes even his haters have to be sad. Last season, Boogie took the Kings and put them on his back. One game, he even scored 56 points, after teaching himself how to shoot threes.

DeMarcus Cousins wanted to win that bad and wanted to end his career in Sacramento. No doubt, if the Kings hadn’t dealt Boogie to the Pelicans, the Kings would’ve finally made the playoffs. But, the chance to team him with Anthony Davis meant building a contender.

Given the history, it’s so ironic how similar the Pelicans and the Hornets are. These franchises actually share a history and both have a recent history of not catching a break. Just when it came together for New Orleans, they just beat Houston, one of the NBA’s top teams, and Boogie went down, out for the season, and all of Twitter is saying the same thing… they hate it had to be him.
