When it comes to the ground game, Fat Joe has an unmatched level, because he puts in work. Since 2016, Fat Joe went on a strong run, dropping consistent new music. Getting started right, Fat Joe delivered his “All The Way Up” single, with Remy Ma, a massive hit.
Fat Joe dropped “So Excited,” his lead single from his solo album. That song became a moderate hit, with Dre on the hook. Because of the success of that record, Fat Joe decided to put Dre on the whole album, offering “Pick It Up” as his newest single.
With the week in hip hop over, Fat Joe has had the biggest impact. In addition to the “Pick It Up” video, with Tiffany Haddish interrupting with a message about Puerto Rico, he has the Coca Vision podcast. Now, he has “Pick It Up,” the Video of the Week.
