Each year, the XXL Freshman list gets scrutinized, more and more. It is to the point, where there a lot of stories about how artists really are chosen. Earlier this week, FBG Duck even said he was supposed to be on the list.
Most of the artists that are “supposed” to be on the list never are. A few years ago, French Montana called them out, because he felt he should’ve made the list, years prior. However, he still agreed to come and be a part of the cover.
This morning, a new list debuted, and has gone viral, because of the names on the list. While most people know Jaden Smith and Bhad Babie, these guys like Fart Boy and Young Hole are new. Twitter is going in on this, saying this list has officially killed XXL’s credibility.
