Kareem “Biggs” Burke talks early Roc-A-Fella Records, Jay-Z, going to prison, and his future on #DrinkChamps [VIDEO]

Plenty of rappers, and record labels, had runs, but Roc-A-Fella seems to be the favorite, for some reason. Maybe it’s the type of lifestyle they portrayed, or Jay-Z’s mystique. But, Roc-A-Fella Records ended, as the world knew it, in 2004.

What’s amazing is how people have continued talking about the eight years Kareem “Biggs” Burke, Damon Dash, and Jay-Z ran the game. It’s been thirteen years since things ended, so that’s a legacy. Nearly every rapper, in one way or another, is influenced by them.

Kareem “Biggs” Burke has recently been making his media rounds, speaking on his history, and current ventures. Recently, N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN hosted Biggs. He spoke on the Jay-Z/Roc-A-Fella/Dame/Def Jam stories, and his current ventures.
