One of music’s favorite pastimes is actually enjoying the music. After hearing a song, people begin knowing them word-for-word, and even making some songs their favorites. Other songs eventually end up being loathed, but still.
When people gravitate towards music, they interpret the lyrics differently. This is because an artist may say a word a different way to fit the beat, or to make it rhyme. Whatever the case, people end up making their own lyrics.
Jimmy Fallon is capitalizing on this, as he now has a challenge for the fans. He has the #MisheardLyrics going and he wants the people to share their messed up lyrics. This has lyrics from Elton John, Busta Rhymes, Justin Timberlake, Fallout Boy, and many others, out there all the way messed up.
