J. Holiday is out of “Bed” and Twitter tells him to go back to bed for his comments about and Beyonce, SZA, and Cardi B (FULL VIDEO INCLUDED) #GRAMMYs [VIDEO]

Not much attention is given to how R&B has died a slow death. In 2007, it looked like the future was secure, as J. Holiday proved there were still viable R&B artists rising. That summer, he released “Bed,” which was the leading 2007-2008 cuffing season song.

J. Holiday even proved he was no one hit wonder, dropping “Suffocate” to strong success. The record was big and Fat Joe tapped him for his single, “I Won’t Tell,” his final charting hit for eight years. But, J. Holiday flopped, following his second album, and soon fell from grace.

Since the era that produced J. Holiday and The-Dream, there has been only one male R&B singer to debut to success, August Alsina, and he hasn’t made much noise since 2014. On the other hand, J. Holiday got out of “Bed,” only to get roasted. He took on the likes of Beyonce, SZA, and Cardi B for capitalizing on the pain of black f*cking men to get Grammys, and Twitter is putting him back to “Bed.”
