Unfortunately, 2018 has gotten off to a pretty sad start. Just as the year begins to take shape, Fredo Santana dies. The young rapper was an integral part of the Chicago movement and he was becoming the face of it.
By far, six years later, Lil Durk has been the most-successful rapper from this time period. However, Fredo Santana became the most-popular by 2014. He said, at one point, he had plans of transitioning from making music, to doing movies.
Fredo Santana did a great job of connecting with the majors, in the industry. When he died, everyone mourned, and Future was included. It was Future’s decision to post the above pic, on his Snapchat, that led to people dragging Future, all across social media.
