Hands down, Lil’ Kim is the most-successful female rapper of all-time, but Eve is still the second most-successful. Honestly, if Eve hadn’t stopped recording music, in 2002, she may have passed Lil’ Kim, in terms of records and sales. At the time, she was out-selling Lil’ Kim.
Thankfully, regardless of all that, Lil’ Kim and Eve managed to become good friends. This current era of hip hop has seen most female rappers be pit against each other. After catching this clip, on Twitter, Lil’ Kim feels that “The Talk” was trying to pit her and Eve against one another.
Eve is one of the hosts of “The Talk” and she was talking about when she first met Lil’ Kim and she dismissed her. She goes onto discuss how the two became close friends. Seeing the caption, on Twitter, Lil’ Kim called out “The Talk” for making her look like the bad guy, and said she and Eve obviously need to talk.
