These days, people, especially in the Black communities, are racially sensitive, and rightfully so. For as much progress as the past fifty years have brought, the past decade has proven not much has changed. All in an era where America can elect a Black president, change was slow.

H&M is the latest company to come under fire for being racially insensitive. Last night, their advertisement for “Coolest Money in the Jungle” went viral. The ad featured a handsome little black boy and people took offense, because of how he was featured.

As H&M pulled the ad, in an effort to do damage control, they faced a major loss. Currently, The Weeknd is on top of the world, and he is no longer doing business with H&M. This afternoon, The Weeknd blasted the company on Twitter, ending their business relationship.
