For some, Bright was the perfect way to close the year of 2017. Even though it’s been a while, there were some happy to see Will Smith back, starring in movies. The Bright movie is tackling a lot of the social topics, addressing what’s wrong in society, right now.
Because Bright stars Will Smith, there is a lot of support behind the movie. Many of the top rappers have already streamed Bright on Netflix, where it is exclusively available. Among the top rappers who saw Bright was Chance The Rapper.
Always outspoken, Chance The Rapper called Bright out. He said he didn’t like the “allegorical racism.” Likening the “orks” to black people, or a level below black people, Chance The Rapper said he preferred for people to just tell it like it is.
