There is a new generation of hip hop that’s making a big impact on the game. Ultimately, the changes that showed themselves, during the 2006-2007 period have now taken hold. The styles back then, which were written off, are now the norm.
In a new generation led by the likes of Migos, Cardi B, and X, the game has changed. This has allowed for the likes of Lil Xan to rise to fame, in the same mold as 6ix9ine and Lil Pump. While these guys are taking over, not everyone is pleased.
A$AP Addie, a part of the A$AP Mob, that’s only a few years removed from being outsiders, themselves, spoke out. Yesterday, he talked about “lames” taking over the game, including Lil Xan in that. Seeing his name, Lil Xan spoke out and said A$AP Mob inspired to rap, so it’s sad to see this.
