A year ago, Kobe Bryant wrapped up an incredible career. He did something that only Kobe Bryant would do. While Kobe Bryant forever played in Michael Jordan’s shadow, his obsession with greatness is forever unmatched.

Kobe Bryant played his final game against the Utah Jazz and lit the team up. All game long, the Lakers struggled, as Utah led by as much as 15 points. Behind a strong, final, game from Kobe Bryant, where he scored 60 points, the Lakers rallied to win.

That’s going on two years ago, as Kobe Bryant returned to the Lakers to have his jerseys retired. Yes, Kobe Bryant is the first player in NBA history to have two jerseys retired for the same team. With that, his interview with ESPN centered on which jersey number he preferred by player, for which he chose 24.
