Last night, fans on Twitter began celebrating, as news broke about popular rapper, Tay K, being released from jail. According to some, he was released on five years probation. From the gate, there were a strong number of people who didn’t believe it.
Still, the turn up was real for Tay K, as he touched a lot of people with his music. On the heels of “The Race,” Tay K dropped his Santana World mixtape. Months after he went behind bars, the record is still doing well on iTunes.
Unfortunately, Tay K is not a free man, however, as the story of his release was false. A fake Facebook page was set up to look like it was from people close to Tay K. The news was good, while it lasted, for Tay K fans, but the rapper remains behind bars.
