No question, Lucious (Terrence Howard) was all the way right. When it comes down to it, Cookie (Taraji P. Henson) hurt Angelo (Taye Diggs) way more than he hurt her. Not only did he sacrifice his career for her, he confessed it all, after she cheated on him with Lucious.
Seeking revenge, his mother, Diana (Phylicia Rashad) kidnapped the youngest Lyon, Bella. She immediately used Hakeem (Yazz) to get back at the family. Eventually, Hakeem lost custody to Anika (Grace Gealey), who is now involved with Angelo.
Clearly, Angelo still had feelings for Cookie, which shows every time he looks at her. His anger got the best of him, when Cookie and Lucious kidnapped him. As Lucious forced Angelo to sign a confession about kidnapping Bella, he lost his cool, and Lucious beat the sh*t out of Angelo.
