Race relations, currently, have America looking more like 1917, instead of 2017. Just as in years past, the minorities have let it be known that they are not having this, anymore. Several rappers have stepped up to become voices of the resistance.

Talib Kweli is a socially-conscious rapper, who always touches on these topics, even when it’s not in the news. Currently, Talib Kweli has some new music out, that’s provoking thought and discussion. His new album is one of the most-lyrical efforts of the year.

Recently, Talib Kweli stopped by Sway for “Sway In The Morning,” where he addressed racism. This led into a discussion about his new album, which went right back into the bars. Before leaving, Talib Kweli delivered a dope freestyle for the nation.
