Nobody is out-hustling Ray J, when it comes to a TV deal. A lot is said about the Kardashian reality empire, which Ray J inadvertently helped to build, but Ray’s own empire is huge. In 2009, Ray J replaced Flavor Flav at VH1 and got three years out of the situation.
Later, Ray J would return, instrumental in getting “Love & Hip Hop Hollywood” off the ground. Continuing the show’s success, Ray J faded into a background role, where his business are promoted. He parlayed his Scooty Bikes into a $30 million deal to create more bikes.
But, if people thought that was where it was ending, they were completely wrong. Since last summer, “The Real” has been searching for a fifth host. This afternoon, Ray J posted the pic with Tamera Mowry, Jennie Mai, Loni Love, and Adrienne Bailon, announcing “The Real with Ray J,” as he’s the new host.
