Las Vegas is steeped in fame for a huge number of reasons, it is renowned for its impressive gambling scene and wild nightlife, however, there have also been an array of high-profile music acts who have performed in the city.

The original Brooklyn Bowl in New York City is one of the best hip-hop destinations on earth, so it’s no surprise that the Las Vegas event space has some great rap and urban artists lined up over the next few months. Nephew of Bone Thugs-n-Harmony members Layzie Bone and Flesh-N-Bone and a native of Las Vegas, Dizzy Wright is an established name in rap music and is making an appearance on the 29.

Ja Rule

One of the hottest rappers of the early 2000s and a prominent act on the Murder Inc. record label, Ja Rule is making a New Year’s Eve appearance at the Brooklyn Bowl alongside frequent collaborator Ashanti, so a performance of the Grammy-nominated #1 hit single “Always on Time” is nailed on. As well as this, fans can expect hits from his eight studio albums, including new material from this year’s Coup de Grace.

The controversial rapper, hip-hop and R&B superstar is will be seeing in the new year at Drai’s beach and nightclub, one of Vegas’ most popular nightlife hotspots. With six pools and a gigantic sun deck with private areas and bars, you don’t need to worry about getting wrapped up and braving the cold with average temperatures still close to 20 degrees throughout December.

If you’re a fan of horrorcore or are just looking for something new, then the $uicideboy$ show at the House of Blues will certainly change the tempo completely. With some pretty dark themes and a reputation for energetic, loud performances with minimal beats and backing, expect this one to get pretty weird very quickly!

2 Chainz joins Chris Brown in performing on New Years Eve

New Year’s Eve will certainly throw up some tough choices, with 2 Chainz performing songs from his new album Pretty Girls Like Trap Music, as well Grammy award winning hit No Problem. Appearing at 1 Oak, which is inside the world famous Mirage, fans can enjoy some world-class gambling before and after the show, or maybe even a night in the fantastic 5-star Mirage hotel.

Appearing at the incredible Omnia Nightclub inside the Caesar’s Palace resort, Travis Scott will be lighting up the crowd with no hold barred rap, trap and hip-hop, including hits from his latest album Astroworld. Omnia itself is an incredible $107 million venue, so make sure you book tickets for the after party, as well as spending some time upstairs in the casino.
