Towards the end of the NBA offseason, Stephen Curry made some major waves. When training camp began, Curry was asked if he would visit the White House, as champion teams do. With the Warriors winning the 2017 title, a White House visit is anticipated.
But, with a president that is in such opposition to celebrities, and the entertainment world, many people have avoided the White House. So, when Steph was asked the question, he said he’d go if the team wanted him to, but he didn’t want to. That led to a major situation.
Ultimately, the Golden State Warriors have opted to not visit DC for a presidential meeting. Meanwhile, the GOP is pushing forward with their tax plan. Even though the Warriors had a game tonight, where they blew the Spurs out, Steph found time to read the tax plan, and clown it on Twitter.
