#JusticeForJazzy: People demand justice for University of Hartford student, Jazzy Rowe, was poisoned and tortured by racist roommate for being black

It’s been over eight years ago, when Jay-Z dropped The Blueprint 3, and he talked about racial relations. At the time, people were in amazement at America electing its first black president. On this album, Jay-Z proudly proclaimed “it’s 2010, not 1864.”

Ultimately, since 2012, it has definitely felt more like 1964, as opposed to the 2010s. Seeing how things went back nearly fifty years, another 100 doesn’t seem too far-fetched. This is what many people feared, a year ago, when the current president was elected.

Jazzy Rowe is an African-American student at the University of Hartford and she is a victim. Out of all places, Connecticut is considered one of the most-liberal, yet Jazzy has been poisoned, tortured, and harassed by a racist roommate. After finally being moved away from her, Jazzy is telling her story, and Twitter demands justice.
