Don’t panic, but the NBA is back, that’s what Twitter has been saying all morning long. The NBA never really went away, with Summer League going on, right after the Finals. Then, there was the draft, the crazy offseason, and then a few weeks before the preseason.
One major change has taken place and it has left the OKC Thunder probably the second-best team in the NBA. Too bad for the Rockets, but their Chris Paul/James Harden combo won’t be enough. OKC went out and added Paul George and Carmelo Anthony to MVP Russ.
The Celtics, though, changed everything up, trading Isaiah Thomas for their arch-rival, Cleveland Cavaliers’ Kyrie Irving. Before that, they signed Gordon Hayward. Tipoff is tonight, where the Celtics will be playing the Cavs, and the Rockets will face off with the Warriors.
