Last year, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie became the top rapper out, in terms of new artists. On the verge of mainstream success, A Boogie has definitely emerged as one of the top mixtape rappers. However, he, like everyone else, has had to pause for Cardi B.
The “Love & Hip Hop” star, Cardi B, had a plan and she enacted it. In early 2017, Cardi B landed a partnership that helped her make it happen in Atlantic Records. Not only did they step up to the plate, they arrived with $10 million for the young star.
As A Boogie makes his comeback, he shares his strategy with Hot 97, speaking with Ebro, Rosenberg, and Laura Stylez. In his sit-down, he talked to them about what he told drake about Hot 97. He also spoke about working with Cardi B.
