Honestly, what’s going on right now is NOT about politics. It’s about saving lives, but the politicians seem to be doing very little to actually save lives. The president came down and threw items at the victims of Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico.
During the same visit, the same president told Puerto Ricans that their government let them down. He went onto say Hurricane Maria was bad, but not as bad as what Hurricane Katrina did to New Orleans. His reasoning for saying that was the death toll, which is rising in PR.
Fat Joe is of Puerto Rican descent and he teamed up with Jay-Z’s streaming company, TIDAL, to take action. Alongside Kevin Hart, Joe announced he was sending ten planes with goods and people to assist the victims. He spoke with CNN about this and began trending on Twitter, as people credited Fat Joe for doing more for Puerto Rico than the president did.
