For the better part of the past decade, O.J. Simpson has been behind bars. In the 1990s, the former football star was accused of murder and stood trial for the murder of his wife and her boyfriend. While he beat the case, he was later brought up on civil charges.
O.J. Simpson managed to stay out of the crosshairs of the law until the end of 2007. This was when someone broke into his Nevada home and stole much of his memorabilia. Eager to get it back, Simpson and some guys close to him found where his stuff was and stole it back.
Ultimately, O.J. Simpson would spend nine years in prison, due to that decision. Back in July 2017, news broke that O.J. Simpson could be a free man, this year. As of this morning, the embattled sports star is a free man, but Florida says he is not welcome there.
