Before all else, Americans were supposed to look out for fellow Americans. After all, that’s what the National Anthem is supposed to be about, in the first place. But, the entire island of Puerto Rico is in trouble, yet Carmen Yulin Cruz is being painted as the bad guy.
Cruz is the diligent mayor of San Juan, Puerto Rico’s capital city, and she’s been working tirelessly for days straight. When she told it like it was, to the president, he attacked her on Twitter. Nearly the whole day has gone by without a response from her.
Carmen Yulin Cruz took a bit of time to speak with CNN and they got a response from her to Trump. In a situation where lives are at stake, Cruz said she didn’t have time to “play politics” with the president. He has accused the Democrats of forcing Cruz to speak out against him.
