Fat Joe announces he is sending help to Puerto Rico, along with performing at Jay-Z’s #TIDALXBrooklyn event, which is donating all proceeds to Puerto Rico victims [VIDEO]

Honestly, the world is in peril, right now, but it’s a beautiful thing. As much as certain leaders try to divide the people, other major figures are uniting these same people. Then, natural disasters are bringing people closer together than ever.

Puerto Rico is a part of the United States of America and the island has had a strong influence on the hip hop culture. Look no further than Fat Joe for evidence on this. Since 1993, Fat Joe has consistently dropped hit records and been active in his communities.

Fat Joe joined TIDAL, alongside Remy Ma, last year and immediately began taking part in their festivities. Earlier this afternoon, Fat Joe announced he was taking part in Jay-Z’s #TIDALXBrooklyn show, which is donating all proceeds to the Puerto Rico recovery. Then, Fat Joe said he was headed to PR with Daddy Yankee to get to work, on a personal level.
