The rise of Cardi B has been very fast, to the outside world, but it has been a slow and steady grind for her. Before she even finished school, Cardi B started her career as a dancer. By 2013, she became very popular on social media, sharing several videos online.
In 2015, “Love & Hip Hop” added her to the cast and Cardi B breathed new life into the show. After her first season on the show, Cardi B revealed she would be leaving after the following season. That was last season, Cardi B is gone, and she has “Bodak Yellow” number one.
Cardi B got to number one, pushing Taylor Swift’s “Look What You Made Me Do” out of the spot. During her celebration, Cardi B sang the hook of Taylor’s massive hit. It was all in good fun, as Taylor Swift sent flowers to Cardi B, congratulating her on her success.
