As if the summer of 2017 wasn’t stacked enough, Jay-Z reemerged and captured the minds of millions. When Jay-Z releases new music, it is much deeper than rap. Also involved are his business ventures, as fans debate how much money his albums will make him.
Jay-Z released 4:44 and he embraced financial success, on a much more personal level. That decision led to backlash over the money phone, a simple analogy he used. The album also saw Jay-Z open up on the Beyonce controversy.
Heading out to London, Jay-Z did a Live Lounge session with BBC Radio 1, with Clara Amfo. He spoke with Clara about what is keeping him going, as he’s suddenly a father of three, and raising this family in the current era. Jay-Z also spoke on his next project and much more.
